Prime Minister Scotty from Marketing is reportedly livid after learning that Australia Post executives were gifted $12,000 worth of Cartier watches instead of a more practical gift, like a Bunnings gift card.
”I am disappointed at the choice of gifts chosen by those higher ups at Australia Post,” said the Prime Minister. ”In these pandemic times, wouldn’t it be more practical to give out a gift card than a watch?”
”Imagine how much $12,000 could buy at Bunnings…you could get that giant inflatable Santa that rides a shark!”
When asked why he was more angry over the choice of gifts given rather than cost of the gifts, the Prime Minister said: ”I reject the premise of your question.”
”We have taken action against Australia Post. I have personally confiscated all of the watches and given them to Angus Taylor for safe keeping.”
”Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to Engadine Maccas to gift the cleaning staff new watches to, ah, make amends for past actions.”
