In its latest attempt to limit offense to ‘anti-woke folk’ and cover themselves in case of a Dutton miracle win, ABC TV will add a warning prior to its broadcasts where a ‘Welcome to country’ is to be screened.
“It’s nice to be finally acknowledged, and feel included”, said One Nation voter Matt Lakeham. “This welcome to country clap trap has been going on for a few years now and it’s affecting my whole family, and will for generations to come, if I can’t find the remote (the mute button) or they start forewarning regular Aussies.”
”I feel like a hostage! What’s next – Alf Stewart welcomes everyone to Summer Bay before the tragic wedding episode?”
The ABC warning is believed to read: ‘The following broadcast may contain distressing scenes of indigenous people welcoming an audience to their ancestors’ land, should this upset please turn over to Sky News Australia’.
