Low rating cable channel Sky News Australia has demanded that the fictional green M&M spokes candy be named this years Australian of the year.
”For too long we have had to sit back and watch a parade of woke leftists lecture us from their pulpits,” ranted Sky News host Andrew Bolt. ”It’s time we struck back and what better way than to do so than by having the green M&M as our Australian of the year.”
”And we want the sexy green M&M, not the dour one.”
When asked if they seriously wanted a fictional character as Australian of the year, Bolt said: ”If the left can have Grace Tame then why can’t we have our candy?”
”If George Pell were still here he’d be a lock to win the award.”
”After all, who has touched more people than Cardinal Pell.”
”Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to bail out Rowan Dean, apparently it’s now illegal to try and mount a packet of M&M’s in a supermarket.”
