The National Pedo Apologists League (NPAL) will meet in Sydney today for their annual catch up where they will take the time to remember the legacy of Cardinal George Pell. A man the league says: ”Touched us all.”
”It’s been awhile since we all got together and reminisced about the good times,” said an NPAL Spokesperson. ”Will be good to see all the usual faces, I hear Bettina Arndt will be there and keen to read some of her prose.”
”Pity we booked a venue that is 18+.”
When asked why such a league exists and goes to such lengths to protect someone such as Pell, the Spokesperson said: ”The Cardinal was a great man and no court found him guilty, well none that weren’t high.”
”He touched so many people you know, it’s such a shame that he will no longer be able to keep touching people.”
”Now, if you’ll excuse me, I need to go and help poor Andrew Bolt, the Cardinal’s death has left him in a very dark place, and no, I’m not talking about Sky News’ ratings.”
