Greens leader Adam Bandt has condemned Prime Minister Anthony Albanese for refusing to join the party in a drum circle to hash out the differences the two parties have over the Government’s housing policy.
“When it comes to taking things seriously in Canberra it appears that it’s only the Greens who are willing to get down and dirty,” said Greens leader Adam Bandt. ”I mean, come on Albo, what, are you too good for the drum circle?”
”You think you’re better than us!”
When asked why the party was seemingly taking a page out of Peter Dutton’s book by saying no to policies, the Member for Melbourne said: ”Hey, come on now, that’s mean.”
”We don’t say no to everything, we see what we can get first, then we usually roll over.”
”Now, if you’ll excuse, it’s my turn to buy snacks for the drum circle and I’m all out of mung beans.”
