Opposition leader (for now), lil’ Petey Dutton, has chucked an epic tantrum, taking his bat and ball and going home to his room, following his humiliating loss at the weekend’s Dunkley by-election.

”Yeah, Petey is taking this one really hard,” said lil’ Petey’s friend Angus. ”He ate his dinner in his room and wouldn’t even come out to talk to his mate Ray.”

”He never says no to Ray, if he keeps this up we might have to get Mumma Gina to come to him.”

When asked why the Opposition leader was refusing to speak about Dunkley, given the rest of his team is seemingly out celebrating the loss, lil’ Petey’s mate Angus said: ”Well, it was a great result, we really showed Albo didn’t we.”

”Sure, we didn’t win the seat but you know at the next election if we repeat that swing and maybe add a one or two in front of it, then we will be back in power, bay-bay!”

”Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to pick up a few puppies for lil’ Petey to strangle, he does love strangling puppies.”
