Shadow treasurer, Ted O’Brien, has told reporters that going forward he would like to be referred to by his new nickname, TeOb. He has also asked reporters to start describing him as a bit of a daggy Dad.
”Now that I’m shadow treasurer you know it’s time for the people to get to know me, the real me, TeOb,” said Ted O’Brien, err, sorry TeOb. ”I’m just a bit of a dag, I like my footy, go Sharks and I like my church.
”I think the Australian people will like me and my leader Sussan, who I’m ambitious for.”
When asked whether he was borrowing a bit too much of his persona from former PM, Scott ‘ScoMo’ Morrison, TeOb said: ”Scott who? Sorry I’m not sure if I’ve ever met him.”
”Sounds like a good bloke, ScoMo you say?”
”Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have to appear on Sky News, it’s good to be seen, even if it is only by an audience of three.”
