The Roseville branch of the Liberal party’s plan to expel former Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull has failed after they left the task of organising the numbers in the hands of Minister for the dark arts Peter Dutton.
“You’d think we’d of learnt by now not to let Peter Dutton organise the numbers for anything,” said Liberal party member Barry Stack. “I mean first he cocked up his coup and we went from Malcolm to ScoMo, now this.”
“Wouldn’t surprise me if Barnaby Joyce’s marriage woes were the work of him outsourcing the numbers to Dutton.”
When reached for comment on the attempt to expel him, former Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull said: “Wait, hang on you’re telling me they let Dutton do the numbers again?”
“Oh that’s priceless I’ll have to tell Lucy, she’ll be in stitches over that. Thank you for the call you have really made my day.”
