Rumours are flying within the Canberra bubble that current Attorney General Christian Porter will be appointed Minister for Women over the weekend when the Prime Minister reshuffles his cabinet.

”I won’t respond to any rumours or scuttlebutt,” said the PM. ”However, I will say that Christian Porter would make a fine Minister for Women should he be appointed.”

”One things for sure Christian knows how to get the ladies talking.”

When asked whether it was appropriate to consider Christian Porter for any Ministerial roles given his history, the Prime Minister said: ”I reject the premise of your question.”

”Christian Porter has done nothing wrong, other than not being an NRL fan that is.”

”How good’s the footy? Can’t wait till the weekend.”

”Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to talk tactics with the gang at Engadine Maccas.”
