NSW Premier (for now) Gladys Berejiklian and her Government are looking to establish a pokies bubble to allow gamblers, preferably problem gamblers, access to their favourite pokies machine.
”Everyday this lockdown goes on the State is losing so much, sweet, sweet, gambling revenue,” said the Premier. ”Please know, that I find this unacceptable.”
”I will get the pokies going again, mark my words.
When asked why given the States many problems her priority was to restart the gambling industry, the Premier said: ”I think I know what the people of NSW want and that’s to gamble.”
”I will be setting up priority vaccination points at your all RSL’s for those who spend more than 40% of their weekly paycheck on the pokies.”
”So come on NSW let’s get moving and get gambling.”
”Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have to go and drive a bus full of pensioners down to their local club to get vacc’d and get gambling.”
