Former NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian has promised the people of Warringah that should they vote for her in the upcoming Federal election she will work around the clock to ensure that the streets of Wagga are paved with gold.
”The people of NSW know that I will work hard for them, well some of them,” said ICAC”s favourite ex-Premier. ”If I could just say, that if I make it to Canberra the people of Wagga will be showered in gold.”
”And of course I will also work hard for the people of Warringah, just they will need to settle for less than Wagga.”
When asked how she could seriously be considering a run for Federal parliament whilst still being investigated by ICAC, the former Premier said: ”Please know, that I was once described as the gold standard of Australian politics.”
”I’m the Premier who saved Australia.”
”Now, if you’ll excuse me, a couple of the residents of Wagga need to be driven to the shops and I can’t keep them waiting.”
