Community action group Voices of Wagga have thrown their support behind former NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian’s potential run for the seat of Warringah, located on Sydney’s North Shore.
”Go for it, Gladys! The people of Wagga are right behind you (and we can’t wait to see our new 60,000 seat stadium that you said you’ll build us)!” said a Wagga local. ”I mean, can you imagine how much money ScoMo will throw at Gladys to win the seat back?!”
When reached for comment on why he thinks that someone currently under investigation for corruption is an ideal candidate to run for election, the Prime Minister said: ”I don’t accept the premise of your question.”
”I mean, how good is Gladys? People love her – which means, if she’s on my team they’ll love me: ScoMo!”
”With Gladys in Warringah, I might be a chance to hold onto my job. It’s not like Albo can bring back Eddie Obeid to run, is it?!”
Gladys Berejiklian was unavailable for comment, as she was too busy shredding in anticipation of her return to politics.
