The Peter Dutton led Coalition, spurred on by Donald Trump’s US election win, have started their Australian election campaign early by employing focus groups to help them decide which minority group it should accuse of eating cats and dogs.
”Donald showed us the way to victory,” said a Coalition Insider. ”Throw out accusations, the wackier the better, but, make sure you aim it in the right direction.”
”Would be too easy to just pin something on one minority, get it wrong and you could lose a whole electorate.”
When asked if the Coalition was seriously going to go to the next election with a campaign of fear and smear, the Coalition Insider said: ”No, we’re going to go to the election with policies, what do you think Junior?”
”I mean do you know how much nuclear for instance is going to cost?”
”Easier to sell fear than reality.”
