The Coalition’s leading numerologist, Sussan Ley, has called upon American President Donald Trump to add an extra F to the tariffs he has imposed on Australia.

”Whilst tariffs are not ideal it would help in the short term if Donald would add an F,” said the Coalition’s numerology Spokesperson. ”An extra F in tarifffs would make it more palatable to the Australian people.”

”That way when Peter Dutton wins the next election he could remove one F and then be able to say he was slowly chipping away at tariffs.”

When asked why she believed that a Dutton led Government would have more success in dealing with America, given it’s woeful efforts whilst in Government with China, Susssan said: ”We’ve changed since then, I mean Scott’s not around anymore, well, he may come back as Governor General, but that’s more a symbolic role.”

”I mean it’s not like the Governor General can over-rule the PM, well it’s theoretically possible but I’m sure Scott wouldn’t do something like that, again.”
