The Canberra press gallery has contacted the police to report former deputy Prime Minister Barnaby Joyce missing after Mr Joyce went three whole days without calling a press conference.
“Look Barnaby if you’re out there please send us a press release or a tweet we just want to know that you are ok,” said Canberra scribe Ian Stoppress. “It’s so unlike Barnaby not to be in contact with us. Three days without so much as a memo or a leak is cause for concern.”
“I know he has a lot going on right now but he knows that any publicity is good publicity.”
Mr Joyce’s replacement Michael McCormack could not be reached for comment as no one seemed to know where his office was or what he looked like.
Police have asked anyone in the Armidale area to keep an eye out for Barnaby Joyce. He is described as around 1.85 metres tall, with a wandering eye and a bright red complexion. If sighted call police do not approach, especially if you are female.
