NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian has issued a grovelling apology to radio shock jock Alan Jones after she failed to ask him how high when he demanded she jump for him.
“Alan Jones is a great citizen and a font of all wisdom so I must say sorry to him for not asking how high when he asked me to jump recently,” said the Premier. “I just assumed like last time he would want me to jump high enough that I could do a backflip and land in the direction that Alan was facing.”
“Clearly I was wrong and I say sorry to you Alan, sorry Mr Jones.”
When reached for comment on the Premier’s apology Alan Jones said: “Well it’s about time, how dare that Woman not ask how high when I tell her to jump.”
“But you know I am a gracious fellow and I accept the Premier’s apology this time, but let’s not let this happen again.”
“Now if you’ll excuse me I’m off to meet Prime Minister Scott Morrison to tell him what he should be doing as PM this week,”
