Australians were shocked to learn that a man who last year struggled with basic arithmetic, Matthias Cormann is in fact still the Nation’s Finance Minister.
“Him, really? The bloke that bungled the numbers in the leadership challenge is in charge of our finances, said Sydney Resident Neville Gear. “Gee, no wonder the economies not looking too great.”
When asked whether he was concerned about having a Finance Minister who struggled with basic arithmetic Prime Minister Scott Morrison, said: “How good is Matthias? I mean sure he can’t count but for me that’s great.”
“Look Australians have become a bit sick of the revolving door of Prime Ministers so I want them to know I will be with them for the long haul.”
“As long as Matthias is still around and doing Peter Dutton’s numbers no one will successfully challenge me.”
“Now if you’ll excuse me I have an appointment at Engadine Macca’s, if you know what I mean.”
