Prime Minister Scotty from marketing has told his inner circle that he is considering launching a Mardi Gras for heterosexual couples. With the march planned to go from Cronulla beach to Engadine Maccas.
“In Australia we like to give a go to those that have a go,”said Prime Minister Scotty. ”And every day heterosexual couples around this great country are having a go and the least we can do is give them a go at running a parade.”
”After all, the gays had their turn on Saturday night, now it’s time for them to hand over the glitter and the floats to the heterosexuals.”
When asked why he felt the need to honour heterosexual couples with a parade, Prime Minister Scotty from marketing said: ”Well why not a parade for straight couples?”
”The gay community in this country have been given a lot by this Government. We gave them a plebiscite after all and we haven’t repealed the laws that allow them to marry. Well at least not yet.”
”Now if you’ll excuse me I’m off to talk to Tony Abbott about potentially being head marshal of the parade.”
