Australian Prime Minister Scotty from marketing has revealed that the 1997 NRL grand final day wasn’t that flash of a day day for him in a speech delivered to the staff of Engadine McDonald’s.
”I know a lot of the staff who worked a shift that day have said that it was a tough day at the office so to speak,” said Prime Minister Scotty. ”However, it wasn’t that flash of a day for me either.”
”Not only did I follow through but a lot of you also forget that the Sharks lost that day as well.”
When asked why he was so incensed about Cricket Australia’s statements regarding Australia day, Scotty from marketing said: ”Gotta be incensed about something, culture wars don’t just start themselves you know.”
“Jokes aside, without Australia day how else am i going to get to post a photo or 20 of me wearing the Australian flag as a cape?”
”It’s not like I can rock up to the cricket wearing one.”
”Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to create some more work for the folks down at Engadine Maccas.”
