Berejiklian Calls WA Premier To Ask Him How To Spell Schadenfreude

NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian has spent her Sunday calling West Australian Premier Mark McGowan to ask him to help her spell schadenfreude. She chose to call the West Australian Premier as the number she has for Queensland Premier Anastacia Palaszczuk had been disconnected.

”I heard a few of my staffers talking about schadenfreude when news broke that Perth was going into a week long lock down and thought I wonder how you spell it, ”So I got on to the blower and tried Anastacia but I couldn’t get through to her so I called Mark.”

”It must have been a bad line as there was a long pause before he finally told me how to spell it.”

When asked why the Premier was constantly taking shots at other States rather than seeking to work together with them, the NSW Premier said: ”Where’s the votes in working together?”

”The people of NSW do not care for Victoria, Queensland or West Australia. They care about NSW, if they didn’t do you you think we’d bother with State of Origin?”

”Now, if you’ll excuse me I’m off to Albury, I hear that there is a new glass house being build on the Wodonga side of the border I’m going to throw some stones at it.”
