Australian Prime Minister Scotty-from-Hillsong’s marketing department has declared that there is no need for the country to rush it’s vaccination rollout as both he and his mum have already had their jabs.
”I know Australians are keen to get out there and get jabbed, but just ease the horses a bit, we’ll get there,” said the PM. ”Besides, I’ve had mine as has my mum, so no need to rush.”
”Well, we do need to get our athletes jabbed up, but after that we can wait a few years to get those who don’t live in Liberal-voting electorates vaccinated.”
When asked why the Australian people should tolerate the vaccination delays, the PM said: ”I reject the premise of your question.”
”There is no delay. We’re on track. Sure, it’s not the same track that we started on but it is still a track.”
”Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m taking the family out for dinner….well not Jen, as she hasn’t been jabbed, but Mum and the girls are coming along.”
