Australian Prime Minister Scotty from Hillsong’s marketing department has moved to remind the country that the trophy in his office is for stopping boats, not Children.
This comes after a 4 year old child that the Government has in detention was medically evacuated to a Perth hospital from Christmas island.
”I know there is a bit of anger out there over the sick little kiddie,” said the PM. ”But, to everyone out there looking to blame me, I remind them that I stop boats, not children.”
”I’ve seen the pictures and I think we can agree that it’s a little girl in the hospital not a boat.”
When asked why the Government was seemingly torturing this family with indefinite detention, the PM said: ”I reject the premise of your question as both a Prime Minister and a Christian.”
”Without my Christian beliefs I am nothing and I think the Australian people know that.”
”Now, if you’ll excuse me, I am off to a rock throwing contest. I’m honoured to have been asked to cast the first stone.”
