Lismore Residents Report PM Missing Following His Disappearance

Worried residents of Lismore have filed a missing persons report with the police following the disappearance of the Prime Minister Scotty from marketing during his alleged visit to the town last week.

”I hope he’s alright, floods can be a dangerous thing,” said a Lismore local as they took a break from throwing out their water ruined furniture. ”I mean we were told he was in town and yet no one saw him.”

”It’s not like a Prime Minister or any decent politician would turn up to a disaster zone and not meet the locals.

When reached for comment on the PM’s disappearance a Spokesperson from his office said: ”The PM worked has worked tirelessly over the last week to be seen having his picture taken in the flood zones.”

”To the people of Lismore who did not meet the PM maybe you should’ve lived in a more marginal electorate, or donated to the PM’s upcoming re-election campaign.”

”Now, if you’ll excuse me, I hear that a couple of marginal seats in Queensland had flood damage, so I best get the photo shop team to work at making it look like the PM visited.”
