The country of Australia has woken up in shock today to learn that they currently have a working Governor General.

The news follows the appalling revelations that have emerged about former PM Scott Morrison using the Governor General, David Hurley to effectively take over the country from his own Government.

”Yeah, I didn’t know that we had an active Governor General,” said Cronulla Resident Dale Telegraph. ”You’d think they might have made an appearance or two over the last couple of years.”

”What with all the floods, fires, Olympics, more floods and more fires, eh.”

Comment was sought from the Governor General on the Morrison revelations however his office relayed the news that the GG only works on the 5th Tuesday of every second Month, during leap years.
