Minister for Home Affairs Peter Dutton has launched a blistering attack on Australia’s Islamic leaders claiming they are to blame for his failed attempt to take the Prime Ministership earlier this year.
“It’s time the Islamic community rallied behind the Government and do what’s right for me, I mean the country,” said Minister Dutton. “I mean where were these terror attacks a couple of months ago when I was jockeying for the leadership.”
“The type of attack we saw on Friday in Melbourne is the type that helps win votes.”
When asked in light of recent polling if he would challenge again for the Prime Ministership Minister Dutton replied: “That question is above my pay grade you’ll have to ask my boss Rupert Murdoch on what my future plans will be.”
