Scotty from Marketing aka Prime Minister ScoMo has today announced a relief package of free tickets to the cricket for all those affected by the bushfires this summer.
“I know Australia is doing it tough at the moment but if we as a Nation can hold out one more day then the cricket will start and everything will be apples,” said the PM. “After all how good is cricket?’
“Sure we’re only playing New Zealand but that just means we get to see Marnus and Matty Wade smash more runs.”
When asked whether he thought tickets to the cricket were appropriate to people who had potentially lost everything the Prime Minister said: “You raise a fair point but we’re only giving away general admission tickets.”
“So those who have lost everything and don’t even have a collared shirt won’t have to worry about being let into the members.”
“Now if you’ll excuse me I have a very important photoshoot to attend with the Sydney Sixers.”
