Scotty From Marketing Tells The Media That A Ship Is Not A Boat

Australian Prime Minister Scotty from marketing has used his daily press conference to berate the country’s media over their confusion between a ship and a boat.

“In times like these the last thing we need is for the media to stir up the public and panic them by confusing ships with boats,” said Prime Minister Scotty. ”It’s quite simple, a ship is something your Nanna or you Uncle goes on for a holiday, whereas a boat is something that my Government stops.”

“It’s pretty clear and if you need to know more take a look at the trophy in my office that I got for stopping boats, not ships.”

When asked where the Minister for the Dark Arts, Peter Dutton was in these times of crisis, Prime Minister Scotty said: ”Peter is doing vital work, why just this morning he did an interview with Ray Hadley.”

“For which I owe him a debt of thanks, as it means I don’t have to spend time with Ray.”

“Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to the shops to pick up some puzzles, I tell ya since getting on to those my press conferences have been so much more engaging.”

“Well at least that’s what Jen and the girls tell me.””
