Christensen Wants To Know If Government Tracking App Works Overseas

George Christensen

The Member for Manila George Christensen has demanded to know if the new tracking app that the Government is rolling out will work overseas.

”Look, I can’t say that I like the idea of people tracking my movements,” said the Member for Manila. ”Maybe in and around Canberra or Mackay is OK but not overseas.”

”You know what it’s like when you travel. You take a wrong turn here and there and end up in a bar that serves amazing cosmopolitans but also has a strip show going on in the corner, we’ve all been there.”

When asked why he was so concerned with overseas travel with Australia’s borders currently closed, Mr Christensen said: ”As the member for Manila my job is to be on the ground getting a feel for the people.”

“What use am I in Australia to all the young ladies on the streets of Manila if I can’t reach out and touch them.”

“Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to talk to the Foreign Minister about opening up the borders.”
