The Morrison Government’s member for Manila, George Christensen has made a passionate appeal to the PM to allow the Philippino ladies table tennis team to tour Australia despite the ongoing pandemic.
”The PM needs to start thinking more about what ordinary everyday Australians want,” said the member for Manila. ”They want to watch talented young Philippino women do amazing things with ping pong balls.”
”Come on ScoMo, let Aussies play with the girls.”
When asked why he spent more time lobbying for the people of the Philippines than his own electorate, the member for Manila said: ”Typical left wing bias crap that your spouting.”
”Who put you up to it, was it the ABC?”
”I bet you Ita bloody Buttrose is behind this. She’s always had it in for me, simply because I think the ABC should be defunded, privatised and banned.”
”Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to download some training clips of the girls practicing. I am always keen to keep an eye on them.”
