”It’s Not A Lie If News Corp Report It,” Dutton Tells Colleagues

Opposition leader (for now), Peter Dutton, has told his colleagues to not worry about the lack of detail or mistruths said at the launch of the Coalition’s nuclear policy launch, as it’s not a lie if News Corp reports it.

”Does Pete bend the truth at times, sure, but hey, it’s up to the media to call him out on it,” said a Coalition insider. ”Good luck with that ABC, they know the minute that they anger us we will gut them when we return to office.”

”Pity Costello was pushed out of his role.”

When asked how the public could have faith in an aspiring Prime Minister such as Dutton when he does not speak the truth, the Coalition insider said: ”The public voted for ScoMo didn’t they?”

”Besides, the public need to ease up and put their faith in the papers and 2GB.”

”Ray Hadley loves Dutton like a son, who wasn’t drummed out of the police force for coke use.”

”Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to taunt some ABC journo’s, gotta make sure they do their job.”
