Former Prime Minister (yep, really), Scott Morrison, has reached out to former Labor leader (again, yep really) Mark Latham, to see if he would like to join him and his wife for a double date at the former PM’s restaurant of choice, Engadine Maccas.

”Being a public figure is not an easy job, seeing your face on the front page of the paper is tough,” said former PM Scott Morrison. ”So, I would like to reach out to Mark and break bread, or a McMuffin, so to speak at the crappiest place on earth.”

”Engadine Maccas.”

When asked what advice he would give Mark Latham if he were in his position, the former PM said: ”Get onto Jetstar and book a a week in Hawaii.”

”But seriously, you need to treat the media like your playing dodgeball, deny, duck, weave and dodge.”

”You don’t have to answer a question if you reject the premise of it.”
