Interim Opposition leader, Sussan SS Ley, has asked the tax payer to fork out over 100k in order to bring her Coalition colleagues back to Canberra so that they can vote on changing their policies to appease Barnaby Joyce.
”We’ve taken some time to reflect on the election loss, we’ve seen the data and the stats and we’ve made the decision to ignore it all and listen to Barnaby Joyce,” said SS Ley. ”He is Australia’s best retail politician you know.”
”No one sells out better than him.”
When asked why the party was seemingly ignoring what the people want, in order to appeal to a vocal minority, SS Ley said: ”Barnaby speaks for the people, he’s a families guy you know.”
”Look, it doesn’t matter what we say or do, we’re just filling in time till Albo does something stupid.”
”Or people go back to reading papers again and they can read about how inept Albo is according to the News Corp crew.”
