Australia’s PM Scotty-from-Hillsong’s marketing department has responded to accusations that he is a liar by declaring that “It is not a lie, if you believe it.”

”Scotty is convinced that he’s not a liar,” said a Government insider. ”At first, he was walking around saying “Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.”

”But, when that didn’t fly he started talking about a lie not being a lie, if you believe it.”

When reached for comment on whether or not people could believe him, the PM said: ”Of course the people of Australia can believe their beloved PM, good old ScoMo.”

”I mean, when have I ever knowingly lied?”

“I am as honest as the next guy, assuming that the next guy is a used car salesman or, better yet, a real estate agent.”

”Now, if you’ll excuse me, I need go and drop a few truth bombs down at Engadine Maccas.”
