Australia’s deputy Prime Minister and aspiring Minister for Home Affairs Barnaby Joyce has told the Nation to trust him to do a deal a climate change legislation.
”The people of Australia know that I Barnabus Joyce can get a deal done and honour it,” said the Member for New England. ”Of course we’re not talking marriage contracts here we’re talking about climate change.”
”And trust me Australia, I will get the best deal that money can buy for the Nationals, err the Nation.”
When asked why he was seemingly holding the Government, of which he is a part of to ransom, the deputy Prime Minister said: ”Ransom, ransom, I’m simply doing my part to ensure future generations are protected.”
”I’m doing this for Matt Canavan’s kids who dream of growing up to play dress ups as a coal miner like their Dad. This is for Gina Rinehart’s kids, the ones that didn’t sue her who dream of growing up to be a billionaire like their Mum.”
”And of course, I’m doing this for my kids.”
”Speaking of kids, I’m off as I saw a few new interns walking around and I’m keen to discuss with them their future plans.”
