Australia’s Prime Minister Scotty who was fired from marketing has today declared that the public is sick of him having to work a 5 day week and if he’s re-elected he will work less hours.
”Australians want their politicians well rested and out of sight,” said the PM. ”I promise that should the great people of Australia re-elect me, then I will not work more than 4 days a week, realistically it will be more like 2.”
”Besides, the Premiers are pretty good at picking up the slack.”
When asked if he was seriously campaigning on a do less platform, the PM said: ”I reject the premise of your question.”
”No Prime Minister called Scott has ever worked harder for their country than I.”
”Why last week alone I nearly hit 32 hours of the week working, if that’s not dedication then I don’t know what is.”
”Now, if you’ll excuse me, all this talk of work is making me tired, might find a nice prayer room to take a nap in.”
