In breaking news Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison will today be appointed Governor General with Minister for Defence Peter Dutton replacing him as Prime Minister.

The move is said to be made as polling has indicated that current Governor General David Hurley is not popular with the base.

The swearing in ceremony will be held at midday, eastern standard time at Engadine Maccas.
