Australian Prime Minister (for now) Scotty from marketing has texted the Governor General to meet him at Engadine Maccas so that they can arrange the formalities around calling an election.
”I know traditionally the Prime Minister will call in on the Governor General to have a cup of tea and talk election,” said the PM. But, I’m a busy man, so I’m calling on the Governor General to meet me half way at Engadine Maccas.”
”Besides, they do a mean chocolate milkshake there, how good are milkshakes?”
When asked why he was taking his time in calling an election, the PM said: ”I reject the premise of your question.”
”There is no delay, I mean I don’t see Anthony Albanese out there calling an election.”
”Where is Albo? I mean I’m here, you’re here, hopefully the Governor General will be here.”
”Now, if you’ll excuse me, I only have a limited time left as PM to have my photo taken doing things so I must be off.”
