The Australian Liberal party has responded to polling showing that they are not popular with the youth of Australia by announcing a new initiative, the Dutton Youth.
”We understand that the youth of Australia are not connecting with us and that needs to change,” said Liberal leader (for now) Peter Dutton. ”With a little blood, sweat and tears on the youths part we will get them seeing the light of day.”
”Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your local Liberal party.”
When asked what the Dutton youth would entail, the Dark Lord Peter Dutton said: ”It will be a wonderful experience, there will be marching, singing and a lot of campaigning.”
”We will also attempt to set kids up with mentors who can aid them.”
”For instance Cardinal Pell has expressed an interest in getting in touch with the Nation’s youth.”
”Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have a lot to do today and I don’t want my death eaters getting restless.”
