Opposition leader (for now) Peter Dutton has followed his predecessors lead and buggered off overseas to avoid questioning over dodgy contract processes he was involved in as head of home affairs whilst in Government.
”Peter Dutton does take stock in what he learned from Scott Morrison,” said a Liberal party insider. ”That is, when the going gets tough, the tough get going to Hawaii.”
”Besides, you can’t be challenged for your job if you’re not in the country.”
When asked how he was going to avoid questioning next week when parliament comes back, the Liberal party insider said: ”We’ll just get the press to start up something, like Albo refuses to recycle his plastic bottles or something like that.”
”Sky News will run with wall to wall coverage and the ABC will be too terrified to dare not cover it.”
”Heck, I can see ABC Media Watch now gearing up too condemn their colleagues for not both siding this issue.”
