Aspiring Minister for Home Affairs Barnaby Joyce has asked the PM if now is a good time to talk about overturning the so called parliamentary bonk ban.
”I know there’s a few unsavoury things happening around Canberra at the moment,” said the Member for New England. ”But, you know Canberra can be a lonely place and if a Minister sees a staffer with a glint in their eye, then why should something so petty as ministerial standards stop them from taking things further.”
When asked why he was so concerned about the ministerial bonk ban given that he was in a happy relationship and also not a Minister, Barnaby Joyce said: ”Well, I’m in a relationship now but who’s to say what the future will hold.”
”As for being a Minister, well all I can say is that there may be an opening in the cabinet coming up pretty soon.”
“I do like the idea of Home or Foreign affairs but hey I could handle being Attorney General.”
