
Australian PM (#LibSpillPending) Scott Morrison has denied claims that he is a liar, telling those around him that he can’t be a liar as his pants aren’t on fire.
”It’s all well and good for people to throw around slurs like ‘liar’,” said the PM. ”However, I will not cop that on behalf of the people of Australia.”
”Sure, I have very broad shoulders, but still, slurs like being called a liar can effect those close to me, like pollsters.”
When asked what proof he had besides leaked private text messages that he was not a liar, the PM said: ”Normally I would straight out reject the premise of your question. However, this time I will simply state that I am not a liar, as my pants are clearly not on fire.”
”Besides, if my pants were on fire, I would sell off the rights for the burning to Barnaby’s lot.”
”Now, I see you are looking at my pants and they seem a little singed, but I can assure you that’s not from fire. That is from this morning’s trip to Engadine Maccas.”
