Australian Prime Minister Scotty who’s chucking a sickie has told his Doctor that he would like a second opinion from his focus group after receiving a diagnosis that his case of covid was subsiding.”
”Scott, err, ScoMo, is a big believer in the focus group,” said a Spokesperson for the PM. ”Sure, his Doctor knows his stuff but we need to find out how his battle with covid is playing in the ‘burbs.”
”If his polling is up maybe he’ll develop long covid, who knows.”
When asked if the PM was seriously considering using his battle with covid to manipulate the polls, the Government Spokesperson said: ”If the PM were here he’d reject the premise of your question.”
”Not before he ran it past his advisers though.”
”Poor Scott, err ScoMo, stuck in isolation in Kirribilli with just 50 of his closest photographers.”
”I should get a focus group together to try and work out what to get the PM as a get well present, maybe a hose or a fruit basket.”
