Australian Prime Minister Scotty from Hillsong’s marketing department has told NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian that there’ll be no compulsory wearing of masks in Bunnings this weekend.
”Gladys and her team are the ruby standard when it comes to handling the pandemic,” said Prime Minister Scotty. ”However, this weekend when it comes to masks, sure they should be worn on public transport and all shops, except for Bunnings.”
”I mean how is a PM meant to have a good photo taken of himself buying a kids cubbyhouse or maybe another chook shed if his face is all covered up with a mask.”
When asked why his Government wasn’t doing more to help the States handle quarantine, the Prime Minister said: ”I reject the premise of your question.”
”My Government couldn’t do anymore, even if I tried.”
”Quarantining and other issues that might cause some bad press are issues for the States to deal with, I can’t be any clearer than that.”
”Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to meet Jen and the girls for dinner. Jen was telling me she wants to tell me about this concept she has heard of called empathy.”
