Australia’s part-time Prime Minister Scotty from marketing has told colleagues that he intends to honour NAIDOC week by going walkabout, until the current Covid crisis in his home state of NSW is over.
”Scott feels that it’s time for him to get in touch with his surroundings and go on a bit of a walkabout,” said a Government Insider. ”He want to explore the surrounds of Kirribilli.”
”Touch on some of his past successes like the chook shed or cubby house that he had his photo taken whilst building.”
When asked why in the middle of a pandemic did the PM feel the need to disappear, the Government Insider said: ”In times of crisis like pandemics or falling polls, the country doesn’t want to hear from the PM.”
”They want to hear from their leaders like Scotty Cam, Dusty Martin or Phil Gould.”
”Now, if you’ll excuse me, I need to fire up the PM’s car as he wants to extend his walkabout to Engadine Maccas.”
