Former Minister for health/innovation/finance/industry and occasional part time PM Scott Morrison has used Budget night to ask the country if they miss him yet.
”It’s been awhile since the election and I thought maybe the people of Australia might be missing good ol’ ScoMo,” said the part-time member for Cook. ”After all, last night’s budget had no car parks, no sports rorts, not like my budgets.”
”My budgets had something for everyone, that voted for us.”
When asked if he felt any responsibility for the precarious position the country was currently in, the former PM said: ”I reject the premise of your question.”
”Ask anyone about my time as PM, it was a golden age for the country.”
”Don’t believe me, ask Peta Credlin, Paul Murray, heck, Andrew Bolt, they’ll tell you.”
”Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have to hand in an invoice to Parliament for all the times I’ve spoken. I get paid to speak now you know.”
