Australian Prime Minister Scotty from Hillsong’s marketing department has ordered NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian to end the lockdown so that he can get down to Bunnings and take some photos.

”The PM has been cooped up in the Lodge for the last 2 weeks and needs to get out and about,” said a Spokesperson for the PM. ”He needs to have his photo taken building another chook shed or doing something with the kids.”

”Now, he can’t do that in lockdown can he?”

When asked why the PM was more concerned with photo ops rather than the Covid crisis, the Spokesperson said: ”The PM is just trying to lift the Nation’s morale.”

”The quiet Tradie Australians don’t want to see the PM talking politics, they want to see him building stuff with his kids in the background or watching the footy with a beer in his hand.”

”Well, that’s what the focus groups have told us they want.”

”Now, if you’ll excuse me, I need to arrange for Engadine Maccas to be available tonight for the PM and his family.”
