The Government’s Member for Manila George Christensen has ordered the Prime Minister to get cracking on a travel bubble between Australia and the Philippines or he will join former Liberal Craig Kelly on the crossbench. A move that would take the Coalition into minority Government.
”Scotty needs to listen to what I’m saying now,” said the Member for Manila. ”I don’t want much, just access to the Philippines so I can go and watch my girls in action.”
”As most of you know I am a patron of a number of up and coming Philippino ping pong players. It’s a real passion of mine.”
When reached for comment on George Christensen’s threats the PM said: ”You don’t go to George for travel advice, you go to DFAT.”
”Now, George is a great local member for Manila and I’m sure in time he’ll get back there to press the flesh so to speak.”
”Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have to meet with Craig Kelly to discuss visitation rights to Engadine Maccas.”
